Summer Housing is available to students who will be enrolled in summer classes at the IU Bloomington campus and wish to live on campus.

Step 1: Review requirements
You must be enrolled for classes at IU Bloomington for the duration of your stay on-campus. Summer housing terms will be released in early 2026.
Step 2: Submit your housing application
The summer housing application opens in March. Once applications are open, you can apply on One.IU. Assignments are scheduled to go out mid-April. Students are notified via their IU email account.
A meal plan is required for the summer. You will select one during the housing contract process. Review meal plan options here.
Change in summer plans?
If you no longer need summer housing, you can cancel your contract using our Contract Cancellation Form. You can also contact our office for cancellations.
